How Rodilon Rodent Baits Work!

Rodilon contains difethialone, a second-generation anticoagulant. After consuming the bait, rodents begin to show symptoms within a few days. The delayed action prevents bait shyness and ensures rodents die away from human view, minimising foul odours and cleanup concerns.

For best results, place bait in secure bait stations positioned along rodent activity areas such as walls, burrows, runways, and sheltered feeding spots.

Urban Areas

For Rats:
Use 30–45 g per bait station. Place stations every 5–10 metres along walls, rat runs, burrows, or other areas where rats are active. Inspect bait points weekly and replenish as needed.

For Mice:
Use 15 g per bait station. Position stations every 2–4 metres along walls, runways, nesting sites, or sheltered areas. Check weekly and refill when necessary.

Rural Areas

For Rats:
Apply 30–45 g per bait station, spaced 5–10 metres apart in areas frequented by rats, including along walls and near burrows. Inspect regularly and replenish according to feeding activity.

For Mice:
Use 15 g per bait station, spaced 2–4 metres apart along walls, runways, or nesting areas. Monitor frequently and top up as required.

Large-Scale Applications

For extensive treatment areas, apply 3–4 kg per hectare using a well-distributed network of bait stations. Suitable stations may include hollow containers, bamboo poles, or protective tubes placed strategically across the site. Inspect routinely and replenish based on bait consumption levels.

Resistance Management

To maintain long-term effectiveness and reduce the risk of resistance:

* Rotate Rodilon® Wax Blocks with other rodenticides that have a different mode of action.
* Avoid continuous or repeated use of the same product without proper monitoring.
